In Color Designer Papers

On Friday I got my share of a designer paper share - actually two paper shares. I am now the proud owner of 6x6 squares of all the Designer Series paper and the Patterns Designer Series Paper. I also bought card stock in the two colour families I didn't own - Earth Elements and Rich Regals as well as textured card stock for the In Colors. I should be set for a while now - HA!

I made this card using the same colours as Silke Ledlow's because I love them so much... I'm not sure my picture does them justice. Check out Silke's! I don't have the rub ons so I used my Cricut to cut out a large flower. I also don't have any buttons so I used a circle that I embossed with my Cuttlebug using the "Build a Flower" cut and emboss set. I also used Bashful Blue brads because I don't have white ones. I printed the "Happy Birthday" on the computer using this handy resource to set the ink to Old Olive.

For my second attempt at this card, I decided to use the In Color Patterns Designer Papers. Because my Riding Hood Red card stock is textured, I didn't emboss the center of the flower. I still used the Bashful Blue brads as I find they match the lighter part of the Baja Breeze pattern paper very well.

Thanks for checking my projects out!
